12 mo, decorative publishers cardboard covers with pasted on label. Unusual for the period abstract ('cosmic') like book design. Spine is chipped but with no loss to the text.Some stains through part of the book, not affecting text.

Talented Russian Soviet satirical poet. At one timeIurii Kazarnovskii was sent for 're-education' to Solovki (arrived in 1928) where he contributed to a number of Solovki literary publications. He was released and went back to Moscow. His satirical poem 'Berlinskoe budushchee' brought him fame: 'V zoosade - lish´ kury/Da para svinei:/Vyslali vsekh neariiskikh zverei.[...] Eto svetilo (Savaofa tvoren´e) Iavno evreiskogo/izgotovlen´ia//'

Re-arrested again in late 1930s and did his time in Kolyma. Released in 1944 and went to Tashkent. In Tashkent Kazarnovskii became addicted to narcotics and alcohol.His mental health was affected in his late years. All his books were withdrawn from library and book trade nets in the USSR but in early 1960s were 'rehabilited'.
