Collection of essays by a Berlin born Jewish doctor (1933), a prominet Soviet gynecologist and Dr.Dr.medicus. Dr. Karl Abragam worked as a military doctor at Soviet military bases in Kazakhstan, Siberia, Novaia Zemlia, Kamchatka and Arzamas. He operated Soviet Army officers´ wives at Novaia Zemlia and ZFI military bases, very often lacking basic hospital facilities. He moved later to the Ukraine where he worked as a head of one of the Ukraine´s largests clinics. Re-emigrated to Germany with his mother and entire family in 1991 (?). |
