Small 8 vo, decorative wrs. in black and yellow. Autographed by Russian editor of almanac..Fourteen line note in blue ball pen. FIRST EDITION. One of the earliest Russian - Israeli joint publishing ventures. First edition of the first issue.The second and (last?) issue was published as ' Sankt- Peterburg - Florida. Bogemnyi [...] Both issues edited by St.Petersburg author and publisher Aleksandr Kilipenko, the author of 'Persik', a collection of short stories published earlier in St.Petersburg. Joint publication of private publishing house 'Borei', St.Petersburg, Magazine 'Stebok' (edited by Nina Budylina of St.Petersburg) and Israeli magazines 'Balagan' and 'Beseder?'. The editor had a plan to publish 'St.Petersburg - Stockholm' issue.He went to Sweden to negotiate with Russian- speaking and -reading authors, and stayed their for good. Not returning to 'free' Russia or so very 'bogemnyi Sankt - Peterburg'. Some of his associates in St.Petersburg followed his path and took part in Sweden´s literary life in Russian and non Russian publications of 1990s through early 2000s.
