12 mo, front cover missing, back cover preserved with minor loses, no damage to the text. Loose. Crudely repaired with old tape. Boxed, gilt tooled leather on box´s spine reads as: 'A. K. Tolstoy. Knjaz´'. EXTREMELY RARE. Old low quality acid- free 'library style' clamshell preserved as well. Most of 'Literatura' Verlag books were printed on cheaper paper, went to school and private émigré lending libraries worldwide and were read into pulp. Copies of production from Knigoizdatel´stvo 'Literatura' are missing in all major Russia´s national and academic libraries and in Russia´s Book Chamber.
