The book was printed as a part of a state backed project 'Books for Pulp' run by the Soviets from late 1970s(?) through 1980s. The purpose of the project described in a 18 lines colophon in details. Printed on better PCF paper. A RARE UND UNUSUAL ITEM.

Designed by D. B. Shimilis and illustrated by A. Itkin. 3 000 000 copies printed in Minsk at CK of Belorussian Communist Party printing shop (another CPSU publishing scheme to turn a 'buck' or two around.Four to five times a year.)

The book was not available for cash in the USSR´s book distribution outlets. It could be only exchanged for paper pulp (old or new newspapers, journals andmagazines). Rare and unique books and archival documents were also accepted by the agents of paper mills.

The provenance of unique publications, very often in foreign languages, was never questioned or discussed. Many books, papers and documents were removed from public domain by book and documents thieves, includin library and academic instutions stuff.

Provenance: Lina Tepman music library and archive, Berlin.
